Every San Francisco Fire Department dispatch to a fire incident is documented by an incident report. These are also referred to as National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) reports. Greater Alarm incidents (2nd alarm and larger), among other selected incidents, are also documented with investigation reports coordinated by the Bureau of Fire Investigation. For more information, questions, or additional incident research, please call the Bureau of Fire Investigation.
